Winston Master En-Suite

Project Brief

Following the completion of the kitchen renovation, it was time to move onto the next stage of this returning customer’s wider renovation project and tackle the bathroom.

For this stage, we acted as both principal contractor and designer, with the focus on creating a luxurious master en-suite that felt considered, practical and fully connected to the interior style established throughout the rest of the property. As part of the project, the bespoke vanity units were also designed and created off site in our workshop before being installed in the bathroom.

The brief was simple in principle but required careful planning and attention to detail: create a high-end bathroom with a strong sense of character, making the best possible use of the available space while carrying through the same bespoke finish seen in the kitchen and previous work completed throughout the home.

Project Execution

Project Run-Through:

Careful consideration was given to the Art Deco-inspired design language used throughout the rest of the property, ensuring the master en-suite felt like a natural continuation of the wider interior scheme. This involved sourcing materials, finishes and fittings that complemented the established style while remaining practical for everyday use.

Although the en-suite offered generous floor space, the vaulted ceiling meant the layout needed to be planned with precision. Once the floorplan had been finalised to maximise usability and movement throughout the room, we turned our attention to the decorative finishes.

Striking onyx-effect tiles were selected for the floor and feature shower wall, creating a strong visual focal point while adding depth and helping the room feel even more spacious.

Project Completion

Bringing the Vision to Life

The completed master en-suite achieved exactly the look and atmosphere we had set out to create. Our clients, along with several of the trades working on site, regularly commented that it was their favourite room in the property — a particularly rewarding compliment given the high standard of finish throughout the rest of the home.

The subtle golden tones within the green onyx tiles complemented the brushed gold Lusso fittings beautifully, while the Art Deco-inspired beading on the bespoke vanity unit connected seamlessly with the other handcrafted joinery across the property. The result was a luxurious, cohesive space that felt both distinctive and entirely in keeping with the wider interior design.
