Project Brief
A returning client approached us to create two sets of bespoke wardrobes for their newly renovated home. They wanted the cabinetry to feel striking, luxurious and distinctive, but were unsure how best to achieve the desired look. We were pleased to guide them through the design process and develop a concept that complemented the wider interior.
Our initial design incorporated the Art Deco-inspired detailing already used throughout the property, including the skirting and architraves. We carried this style through into the Shaker-style doors, creating a sense of continuity across the room.
A traditional cornice was added to give the wardrobes a refined, furniture-like finish, while matching decorative end panels created an impressive focal point as soon as you entered the space. The design was brought together with elegant cockbead in-frame detailing, adding depth, character and a further layer of craftsmanship to the finished cabinetry.

Project Execution
Project Run-Through:
After presenting several design concepts, our client placed their trust in us to bring the chosen scheme to life, giving us the creative freedom to refine the finer details and elevate the overall finish.
Once the design and specifications had been approved, production began in our workshop. The bespoke cabinetry and doors were manufactured in-house, with every component carefully assembled and test-fitted to ensure precise alignment before installation. During this stage, we also introduced additional details, including an ogee edge to the tops of the internal drawer units, adding a further level of craftsmanship and refinement.
With fabrication complete, the doors and external panels were sent to the spray booth for a durable PU paint finish, colour-matched to Farrow & Ball’s Dimpse. Each component was then carefully prepared and protected, ready for installation on site.
Project Completion
Bringing the Vision to Life
With the cabinetry, panels and doors carefully protected and packaged, installation of both wardrobe sets began. The work was completed over two days, resulting in a finished design that remains one of our favourite bespoke projects to date.
Handing the completed space back to our client was every bit as rewarding as the build itself. They were delighted with the transformation, commenting that they had never seen anything quite like it before and were particularly impressed by the level of detail throughout. The way the intricate external door design had been carried through to the internal drawer units was a standout feature, creating a beautifully considered and cohesive finish.
They also praised the exceptional quality of the spray finish, describing it as incredibly smooth and silky. In their words, the overall standard of craftsmanship surpassed even some of the highest-end German kitchens they had previously seen.
