Light Grey Home Office
June 2022

Project Brief
Our client came to us to help solve a household problem. Due to both now working from home full-time after the COVID pandemic, sitting at the dining table wasn’t cutting it; they were tired, unfocused, and uncomfortable.
During our on site meeting we discussed how the proposed space would be used which enabled us to design something that would work ergonomically with their workflow.
The aim was to create something comfortable that would provide a good working environment, while also maximising storage to ensure everything stayed neat and organised.

Project Execution
Project Run-Through:
Once our design consultation was complete we began by drawing scaled CAD sketches, this allowed us to put our proposal to the client accurately and to ensure it was exactly what they required, thankfully our client loved it the first time round so we progressed through the design process onto materials samples.
The finished project would be completed using a “light grey” and “driftwood” panel combination that would create a striking contrast. We suggested the inclusion of LED lighting in the underside of the floating desk shelf, which would double up as a feature and also handy lighting for working late. Once our designs had been manufactured in the workshop we transported to site to install.
The installation was completed on-site in 2 days and also included a matching utility cupboard to enclose the boiler in the corner of the room.
Project Completion
Bringing the Vision to Life
Once the installation was complete, we thoroughly checked everything and cleaned up before handing it over to our client.
We taught them how to activate the dimmable LEDS from the remote and showed them an additional extra we had managed to cater to at short notice to create a bespoke internal filing drawer.
This little complimentary extra ensured our client had their perfect home office without compromise and we left happy in the knowledge we had gone above and beyond to deliver another great bespoke project.
